Samsung has brought its Music Studio Series Wi-Fi speakers to India. The lineup includes two models — the Music Studio 5 and the Music Studio 7. Prices start at ₹27,900.
The Music Studio 5 is the smaller of the two speakers. It is designed for compact spaces. The Music Studio 7 is a larger, more powerful unit intended for larger rooms. Both models support high-resolution audio streaming over Wi-Fi.
Samsung is positioning these as premium home audio solutions. The speakers are meant to compete with established multi-room audio systems from brands like Sonos and Bose.
A key feature of the Music Studio Series is Q-Symphony. This technology allows the speakers to work in tandem with compatible Samsung TVs. It synchronises the TV's built-in speakers with the Music Studio speakers to create a wider, more immersive soundstage.
Both models also support Dolby Atmos. This provides three-dimensional audio that places sounds above and around the listener. For movie and TV show enthusiasts, this is a significant selling point.
The speakers can be grouped together for multi-room audio playback. Users can play the same music in every room or different tracks in different rooms. Control is handled through the Samsung SmartThings app.
The Music Studio Series also supports voice assistants. Users can control playback with voice commands. The exact assistant integration has not been detailed for the Indian market.
Wi-Fi connectivity ensures stable, high-bandwidth streaming. Bluetooth is also available for direct device pairing.
The Samsung Music Studio 5 is priced at ₹27,900. The Music Studio 7 costs ₹39,900. Both models are available for purchase starting today through Samsung's official website and select retail partners.
Samsung has not yet announced any introductory offers or bundles. The company is expected to run promotional campaigns in the coming weeks.
The launch comes as the Indian smart speaker market sees steady growth. Consumers are increasingly looking for high-fidelity audio options that integrate with their existing smart home ecosystems.
Samsung's Music Studio Series will directly compete with the Sonos Era 100 and Era 300, as well as the Bose Home Speaker series. The Q-Symphony integration gives Samsung an edge for users already invested in its TV ecosystem.
Industry analysts will be watching to see how quickly Samsung can capture market share. The premium pricing suggests a focus on audio enthusiasts rather than casual listeners.
