The latest spy shots, shared by automotive website MotorOctane, show the BE.07 undergoing road trials. The test mule was spotted near Mahindra's testing facility, wearing heavy camouflage but revealing clear design cues.

Design and Platform Details

The BE.07 features a sharp, coupe-like roofline and a muscular stance. It appears to borrow design elements from the BE.05 concept, with a distinct front fascia and sculpted body panels. The SUV is built on Mahindra's new INGLO platform, which is dedicated to electric vehicles.

This platform is expected to underpin multiple Mahindra electric SUVs in the coming years. The BE.07 will likely be positioned as a premium offering, slotting above the XUV400 and directly competing with the Harrier in terms of size and price.

Battery and Range Expectations

While Mahindra has not officially confirmed specifications, industry sources suggest the BE.07 could come with multiple battery pack options. A 60-80 kWh battery pack is being speculated, offering a range of around 400-500 km on a single charge.

The SUV is expected to feature dual-motor all-wheel drive in top variants. This would give it performance credentials to match its sporty design. Mahindra is also working on fast-charging capabilities to reduce charging time significantly.

Market Positioning and Timeline

The BE.07 is expected to launch by late 2026. Its pricing is likely to start around Rs 20 lakh, going up to Rs 30 lakh for top-end variants. This would put it in direct competition with the Tata Harrier, as well as upcoming electric SUVs from Hyundai and Kia.

Mahindra has been aggressive in its electric vehicle push. The company has already unveiled the XUV400 and has plans for a full lineup of electric SUVs under the BE brand. The BE.07 will be a key part of this strategy.
