The observation came during a hearing where the bench highlighted that the backlog is a result of multiple systemic failures. The court stressed that without addressing infrastructure and procedural bottlenecks, merely criticising the judiciary will not speed up justice.
AI to Streamline Case Management
As part of the order, the court has mandated the integration of AI tools for case scheduling and evidence tracking. The technology is expected to automate routine tasks, allowing judges and court staff to focus on substantive hearings.
