Just days before their expected debut, detailed renders, specifications, and European pricing for the Redmi Watch 6 Active and Redmi Watch 6 Lite have leaked online. Multiple tech publications, including GSMArena, 91mobiles, and Android Headlines, have published the information, citing industry sources.
The leaks show two distinct smartwatches aimed at budget-conscious buyers. The Redmi Watch 6 Lite appears to be the higher-end model, while the Watch 6 Active targets a more affordable price point.
The Redmi Watch 6 Lite is reportedly priced at โฌ60. The key highlight is an AMOLED display, a feature usually reserved for more expensive wearables. The watch also includes built-in GPS, allowing users to track outdoor activities without carrying a phone.
Notebookcheck and Gadgets 360 both confirm the โฌ60 price tag for the Lite variant. The device is expected to come in multiple colour options, though the exact shades have not been confirmed. Battery life details remain under wraps.
The Redmi Watch 6 Active is positioned as the entry-level model. It is expected to feature a larger, rectangular display, likely an LCD panel to keep costs down. The Active variant is also expected to offer heart rate and SpO2 monitoring.
According to the leaked images, the Watch 6 Active will be available in at least three colours: black, blue, and pink. Pricing for this model has not been explicitly mentioned in the leaks, but it is expected to be lower than the Lite's โฌ60 tag.
Xiaomi has not yet confirmed a launch date for either smartwatch. However, the volume of leaks suggests an announcement is imminent. Both watches are expected to run Xiaomi's proprietary HyperOS, ensuring seamless connectivity with Xiaomi smartphones.
Industry watchers anticipate the watches will be unveiled alongside other Redmi products in the coming weeks. The official pricing for markets outside Europe, including India, is yet to be revealed.
