The arrests were made following weeks of surveillance and intelligence gathering. Officials said the accused were transporting a large consignment of synthetic drugs, which were intercepted before they could hit the local market.

The drugs recovered include high-grade MDMA, methamphetamine, and other synthetic substances. Police said the street value of the haul is estimated at Rs 28 crore, making it one of the larger drug busts in Bengaluru this year.
