The teaser campaign signals that the N6x will not be a minor refresh. Instead, it introduces a visual language that clearly sets it apart from the existing OnePlus N6.

Flat Display and Redesigned Camera Island

Official images show the N6x with a flat display, a departure from the curved screens seen on some recent OnePlus models. The front panel houses a centrally placed punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

The rear of the device features a rectangular camera module, a shift from the square or vertically aligned designs used on earlier N-series phones. The module protrudes slightly and houses multiple sensors and an LED flash.

The overall silhouette appears more squared off, with flat side rails that suggest a modern, industrial look. Volume and power buttons are placed on the right edge.

Colour Options and Finish

OnePlus has teased at least two colour variants of the N6x. A green shade, likely carrying a matte or frosted finish, has been featured prominently. A darker, possibly black or charcoal variant has also been shown.

The company has not yet confirmed the official colour names or whether additional options will be available at launch. Based on the teasers, the finishes appear to resist fingerprints, a common complaint with glossy glass backs.

What to Expect from the N6x

The 'x' suffix typically indicates a mid-cycle upgrade for OnePlus. However, the design overhaul suggests the N6x could bring more than just a spec bump. The phone is expected to support 5G connectivity, a standard feature in this price segment.
