Samsung's next mid-range contender for the Indian market is almost here. The Galaxy F70 Pro 5G will make its debut next week, and the company has already started teasing key details. Flipkart, the exclusive partner for the F-series, has put up a microsite that confirms the phone's arrival and hints at what buyers can expect.

The teaser page does not hide much. It shows a design that closely resembles the Galaxy M47, which is not surprising given Samsung's strategy of rebadging popular models for different online platforms. The F70 Pro will sport a triple camera setup arranged in a vertical strip, a punch-hole display, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Performance and internals

Under the hood, the Galaxy F70 Pro is expected to run on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. A Geekbench listing spotted earlier this week backs that up, showing an 8GB RAM variant scoring in line with other devices powered by the same processor. The listing also suggests the phone will boot Android 14 out of the box, with Samsung's One UI 6.1 on top.

Battery capacity is yet to be officially confirmed, but given the M47's specs, a 5,000mAh unit with 25W fast charging is a safe bet. Samsung has not commented on this, so buyers will have to wait for the official announcement.

Price and availability

The pricing has been the subject of much speculation, but Samsung has now revealed the official figure. The Galaxy F70 Pro 5G will be priced competitively for the segment, though the exact amount has not been stated in the teaser.
